Description

Virtual Buss Compressors is a suite of three unique-sounding dynamic processors, all 100% modeled after top analog mastering gear and thus ideal for program material.
Every nuance of real analog compressors has been modeled, including the exact nonlinear characteristics of their transformers, tubes, VCAs, amplifiers, phase distortions, harmonic distortions, and timing.

The sound quality is really outstanding, especially when used on the drum bus, and Mu for the Master bus. Works great with Pro Tools 11 on our Macs. The GUI is fantastic sleek and smooth. The guys at Slate Digital really outdone themselves on this bad boy bus compressor.

The MU has an amazing sound, you can trow it to a guitar buss, crank the gain and lowering the output and you get a good amount of useful saturation.

The Grey it's really good for the master bus, keeps the bass good and it's really smooth on the highs.

The Red (at least for me) shines at the...

It just works and makes anything I throw at it sound nice punchy and defined. The drive knob on the red is engaged just to add that sweetness when I need it.
The long and short of it is it's a slate product = excellence=ease of use=Superior audio quality
