OM1 - OMNIDIRECTIONAL CONDENSER MICROPHONE Made in Sweden by Line Audio Design
This omnidirectional microphone has a natural, detailed and balanced response. Perfect for natural reproduction of acoustical instruments such as members of the bowed and plucked string-families, grand piano, brass, drum overhead, percussion, overhead choir and voice -with a minimum of colouration. The response is very smooth and flat, with fine off axis performance.
It's suitable for professional studio and PA use, with a pricetag at the hobbyist level!
The small size (about the same as a normal XLR plug) makes it easy to place, without being in the way. Its size and black colour makes it close to invisible on stage. Delivered with foam windsheild and microphone holder (clip).
During manufacturing each capsule is measured, selected and trimmed by us to close tolerances. Out of range capsules are rejected. This in combination with the internal circuitry, results in a response with a unique flatness. These are quality microphones made for demanding situations.

Signal went into a Focusrite 2i4 and Reaper, and then rendered to mp3, max resolution. Recording...
...and six/seven instrumentalists playing some Spanish renaissance music. Main pair - Line Audio CM3 - 36cm/20*, outriggers/spots for instruments Line Audio OM1 - 1m apart mixed to taste. Audient ASP800 as pre. I can't say how much I love this tool! - as the microphones. Enjoy the listening.
...with "Var smoothing" display - the dB scale is not calibrated (downwards offset here) - for this measurement a vertical Line Audio OM1 microphone was used (http://www.lineaudio.se/OM1.html) so the HF (10-20kHz) are actually about 5dB higher (see the polar pattern) - the 66Hz hole would disappear if setting the O 300 and listening position at 150cm height...
