Good $200 all-around dynamic mic mainly for snare?

Another option: Lewitt MTP 440 DM. I’ve been using two (snare top and bottom) for a year and a half or so - Definitely very open and transparent, a bit condenser like, but without the issues condensers can give on snare. I wouldn’t replace them with anything else!

Done with Kemper, giving miking an amp a go.

If you want to give amp miking a go get a Lewitt MTP 440 DM. Awesome dynamic mic. Costs the same as a 57 and sounds much better in my experience.

(kinda) unhyped dynamic mic ?

Lewitt MTP 440 DM Beyer M201 Both great mics on guitar amps, most of the time I prefer the sound of the 440 but I use both. Edit: I forgot about the AKG D40, another mic that sounds great on guitar amps
