With Klasik we wanted to give you a tool that will transform your work into fun.
It is a no-compromise fusion of craftsmanship and sonic precision.
We have achieved this by obtaining a very smooth SPL amplitude and phase.
By using a very light, 19mm tweeter dome we managed not only to achieve great detail in the upper range of Klasik but also to provide excellent directional response.
Thanks to a 7 inch woofer sporting a very powerful and technologically advanced magnetic circuit Klasik offers a very precise and fast bass and mediums, very useful for precise EQ work.
Its active crossover was designed to the highest standard. Each Klasik is carefully calibrated to the template and paired. The incredible amount of work that went into Klasik puts it right next to some substantially more expensive products.
To make the long story short - if you are thinking of buying a pair of near-field monitors, give it a shot! We are sure it will be the bull’s eye for you!
My new studio space! It's located on a former military base. Just fields and deer around here and a few sweet Cameroon sheeps. Only thing missing are new speakers which are going to be APS Klasik and my utility euro rack case. Heating with wood feels pretty Techno :guitarjam:
... Ray (the gatekeeper @APS) had a small batch incoming since some time now. Tomorrow he'll send me a pair of Klasik 2020s. Since I had to get rid of my Monitor Audio Silver 300 floorstanders with NC400 Monoblocks because wife -.- I need to switch to smaller speakers (max. 6/7"), the Klasiks will have to...
...about are monitors. Have you considered APS? They have great quality to price ratio. I am using pair of APS Klasik in my one flat and pair of APS Aeon in another. Both work great and those Klasik have more bass than my neighbours can handle. ;] Cheers! Norman
I've been producing music for several years (since about 2007). It was always a supplementary activity for me, I needed a hobby during university time, and later on, after regular work. I got hooked on music produciton and so my journey began. Recently I came to a conclusion that such...
I think I am fairly typical member of the Gearslutz community - a forty-something male that has been synthesising, sampling and recording since the eighties. I’ve read a ton of info over the years about studio monitors, but never really considered a decent upgrade until recently (despite...
first I want to thank the wonderful guys at APS for creating these fantastic monitors.
The only thing wrong with this company and its products is that they are not well-known enough. Maybe not enough marketing or reluctant audio engineers. Maybe both.
I have owned them for more than half...
Recently due to some studio changes I had to replace my focal cms 50 monitors with sub cms for just two main monitors with extended low end (as I am mixing loads of dance music stuff). I have listened to APS Klasik at few of my clients studios and had always good words about them. So when time came...
