Kent or London studio partner
I am a highly experienced sound engineer and music producer who has run his own recording studio in Greece for 25 years. I am now moving to the UK and I am looking for a partner in order to start a new recording - project studio business in London or South East of England. The person I am looking for, will need to provide the studio space (must obviously be analogous to the equipment on offer) and have access to industry contacts and potential customers. In return I am able to provide a full working studio setup consisting of a range of top quality analog and digital equipment. Please see the attached list.
I am open to discussing the terms of the agreement or any alternative suggestions for collaboration.
Your Turnkey Studio Opportunity
Whether you have an existing studio and can use all this incredible hardware, or you're starting from almost scratch, I can offer you a great opportunity.
As you know, it costs a ton of money and time to source, refurbish and upgrade a whole studio's worth of classic gear. I have literally an entire studio of classic gear (from famous tape machines, console, mics, outboard and even acoustic treatment) and want to partner with you to take your studio to the next level.
I can bring this whole studio's worth of equipment to you. Location isn't a huge issue, but I want to forge a great working partnership.
All I ask of you:
A great space- At least a separate control room
Clients and/or regular business activity
A desire and willingness to enjoy and use awesome classic gear
Please check out the link to really get a feel for what I'm offering. Thanks!

NY Studio Partner
My goal is to find and set-up a good sounding room in or near NY where I can record my quartet of saxophone, piano bass and my drums live on the floor together with gobos and small monitors instead of headphones. This old-school (except for the monitors) approach has worked really well for us. I’m looking for a long-term situation. 3-year lease would be good, but I’m flexible.
The plan is to record for 3 hours, 5-days a week (probably Saturday to Wednesday from 2pm to 5pm) for 3 weeks at a time and do this 5 times each year.
Setup and breakdown each week will take some time as will each day’s tweaking, so I estimate an average of 5 hours a day. That would be a maximum of 375 hours each year / 75 days. I’d also use some other time for post-production, composition, tech work, etc., but there would still be a lot of time during the weeks I’m there for others’ use.
Outside of my 15 weeks, I will be on the road or in Europe with my family most of the time. Only in NY here and there and using the studio minimally during those periods.
This would leave at least 2/3rds of the time available solely for the use of a partner or partners.
Ideally, our equipment would compliment each others, but I'm OK to keep our stuff seperate, if you'd prefer. This is what I have and would be leaving in the studio:
-Steinway A3 6’4” piano
-B&O-BM5 stereo ribbon (blumlein) original
-Schoeps CMC6 / MK4 matched pair
-Microtech/Geffel UM70 (M7 capsule) original East German
-Violet Amethyst Vintage dual diaphragm VD67 capsule
-Cloud Microphone JRS-34-P passive ribbon mics matched pair - made by the son of RCA’s Jon R. Sank
-Milab DC-96B rectangular capsule condenser
-AKG C 522 ENG stereo condenser
-Oktava 012 condenser w 3 capsules
-Metric Halo UN-8
-Metric Halo 2882
-Cloudlifter CL-2 Mic Activator safe active gain for 2 ribbon or dynamic or mics
-3 Redco-made Mogami/Neutric 25’ 8 channel snakes/breakout-boxes
-Assorted Mogami/Neutric mic cables (a few Canare too)
-KH O300d monitors
-Silver speaker cables
I have a 8-drum kit that I’d be leaving in the studio, but packed up when I’m not using them. They wouldn’t be available for others use.
Finding a space to realize this plan as soon as possible is my main focus right now.
