Yamaha SY77 vs SY99 (sound quality) just as well cos that's all it had though you could load limited ones of your own in ala sy99. SY85 was the budget of the 3 'top end' SY synths! The 77 cost a fortune new (I think it was at least £500-£1000 MORE than the 85 on release and was earlier too...
