Yeah Yamaha makes good gear IMO. I can't say enough good things about there DXR speakers. They sound great, reasonably priced and have a 7 year warranty.
I agree that venues should get the best equipment they can afford or that is suitable for the type of gigs they do, but you would give up a PM5D, PM1D or M7CL for an X32/M32? If I can't have the best sounding console, I would at least prefer to have the console that...
