Headphone Amps - Quality & Function

In regards to using an Art Head Amp 6 Pro for studio works...Is anyone else currently using the Art Pro 6 ? I am thinking of purchasing one and would appreciate some true to life reviews on the Art head amp...Also,
can somebody suggest a 'best way' method for the functions of a head phone amp, for example,... would you want to mount the amp itself in the control room and run the signal thru audio sends to the live room...this would allow the sound technician total control of the signal chain...
Or...would it be better to have access to the head amp from the live room area, there by omitting the need for an audio snake...this way the musicians would have total control of their own listening pleasure...
Where are head amps typically located in the studio invironment ???
