Itb mix critique appreciated

Honest criticism very much welcomed. My first time mixing a song by a friend. How is the mix overall? What is not sounding right or needing tweaking. I think it's def better than the dry mix but that means nothing. I am using $20 radioshack speakers to monitor in an untreated bedroom. I will upload the track without any effects as well for another comparison. Just anything to send me in the right direction would be very much appreciated. Breaking down the elements of the mix would be very helpful.

It was mixed using the Waves Api eq's and the Glue compressor as well as the waves veq3 eq for the midrange of the vocal.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Sounds like you scooped out the low mids from the dry mix to your regular mix.

Dry mix wasn't bad...vocals just need processing.
