Anybody mod a Joe Meek JM47 mic? Advice?

Hello. I've been bitten by the mic mod bug... just finishing up mods to a pair of Oktava MK-319 LDCs. I will have a Joe Meek JM-47 coming into my hands soon. Have heard complaints about its Chinese lineage, but could find no info from anybody about modifications to JoeMeek mics. Can anybody offer any advice? Expert advice appreciated all the more. Will capacitor upgrade help? Can anything be done with the grill or damping the body to improve this LDC? Those mods on the Oktava MK-319 (and cutting the switch out of the MK-319) are the only mods I'm familiar with.

Thanks for info or clus or pointing me to clues!
