Actually...

I changed my mind. Here's another song. But I'm after another kind of critique. This is a very low-fi recording I did a few years back to help me plan out the song structure for a solo set I did. It's just accoustic guitar and vox recorded into one microphone, so I don't need to know that it's a crap recording job... But I've been considering recording it again SO ...I was wondering what people could recommend as far as the song goes. What would you like to see in the mix? What other instrumentation could be used? Any feedback would be put to good use...

I like it man!

You should check out Aberfeldy - mixed/produced by Jim Sutherland. Very cool mono recording - awesome vibe and sound. One of my favo CD's right now.

Glad you like em!

Read the SOS article, they build small amps for the synth and recorded drums, vocals, guitars with only one mic...

Cheers.
