Other than the fact that there are major tempo issues it sounds okay... Just call it Acid Jazz and then no one will know....

yes it's very hard to record the band who didn't work with click....

I think there is no punch in snare and the tom was too much attack....I have to work on the bass...too strange no???

yea the attack in the tom might be too much but you should listen with the guitars, it might work. I think the drums sound good, relatively realistic but the snare might get lost in the mix, try duplicating it and compressing it a bit and add some 4k and 200 and taking out some 1k. You are right, the bass needs to be cleaned up too

that has a nice primus feel at a very subtle level. i like it. fix the bass player or record in sonar where you can mark the bass transiets and move them on point your self.......

in my opinion the drums really aren't convincing... the snare is so far back in the mix that it's like the drums are going to be distant- yet the hihat is right in your face (and not in time...) judging by the delay/reverb on the snare it seems as though a lively sound was the goal (or maybe it's just the product of a lively room) but the close miked toms lack resonance and are panned so hard that it doesn't really portray this to my ears. just my two cents?
