Songs with Line 6 PODxt Gearbox plugin - need feedback.

I'm new around this forum and am looking for some feedback on the latest 3 songs I've put together with Line 6's gearbox plugin. Specifically feedback towards the guitar sound. Some parts may continue on for a while as they are intended to be filled with vocals later on.

The drums are not programmed that well and they're only temporary until my real drummer replaces the beats with his TD20 and DFHS. The drums I programmed here are DFHS with Steven Slate samples replacing the Kick and Snare.

Any help is appreciated!

all I can say is.. I'm getting a gearbox.

The mix is sweet. Is the ambience on the snare Z4? What samples are these? Great work, I'm sure Steven will want to use it on our page if you'd allow us.

Cool guitarsounds you got!
The idea in the end of song one where the guitars makes this melodic bending/trashing piece together is cool!
Even though the drums where programmed I think they sounded good, what program are you using?
Your other mixes sounds quite nice also - I really haven´t got any bad things to say which is refreshing
Keep up the good works

Thanks! Gearbox is great. Same exact sound as the PODxt, just in VST form. I use Voxengo Curve EQ after Gearbox to really shape the sound I want in the guitars.

For the drums, that's all Steve Slate samples. Minimal EQ and no reverb. The Z4 samples are amazing. So rich and the decay is great. The Kick sample is Kick 11 Z3 and Kick 11 Z4 at 6% and snare is snare 7 Z2 with 7 Z4 at 35%. The ambiance of the Z4 is my new favorite toy.

No problem if you want to use those songs for demos! I just wish I had some better programming on there.

I use Cubase and Drumkit from Hell Superior. I played the beats on my keyboard with my fingers in real time, then auto quantized later. That's why the beats are not that great.
