I listened to your the 1st version of the song and then listened to the 2nd.
There is no question that the second version is better. The revisions you made were dramatic. Those drums sound way fuller and so do the guitars.
Vocals are sitting nice

I usually don't find myself listening to this genre of music. This genre and the genre I listen to and create are on opposite ends of the spectrum. However, I DO know good music when I hear it. I'm really digging this song.

Even though I do a different style of music, I still need to expand my ears as a brand new student to this engineering game. You possibly opened me up to a new style of music I regularly wouldn't find myself listening to.

The vocalist is awesome. Awesome band for that matter.

Great Mix

Sounds really good Purusha, nice job!
To me the vocals were a bit burried.
He is a good singer, turn him up.
Drums might have been a bit over the top, but thats a judgement call.
Cymbals are bright, but not hurting my ears.
IMO, I would bring down the drums a tad and most deffinitely TURN up the vocals!
When you master, sometimes the vocals come down, so its nice to have a vocal up for the mastering dude.
Best of luck!

Thanks for the compliment Rednose.

Were you listening to 1st or the 2nd song?

It's a tricky thing with the vocals. I don't want the band to sound less important
or not so huge at the same time.

BTW, I'll master it my self and I can lower or make the vocal a bit bigger later with M/S technique.
And usually the drum go down a bit a mastering so it should be fine, I hope
