Hybrid mixing - chasing the punchy analog SSL sound

Hi all,

for some time I´m striving to achieve the punchy, crisp SSL sound after the likes of Andy Wallace etc. I have aquired a couple of selected hardware pieces like an SSL FX G 384 bus compressor, Danfield 716a channel dynamics and a Kahayan SSL type summing mixer (see my various posts here). For EQ I am using Q Clone impulses of the E EQ.

Now I´ve recently finished an album mix that I´m quite happy with and wanted to share it with you, to get some feedback, get a discussion going etc.

It´s my band "Regionalliga", a German 4 piece Rock band (German lyrics) with a little bit of Funk sprinkled on top.

The album ("Regionalliga - Liganden") can be found in all the usual download/streaming services, e.g. YouTube Music: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...u3Ng81GpcV0Qjw

Anyway, would love to hear your thoughts!
