Introducing Bass Pedals – An endless source of wall-shattering subs, filthy bass drones and obese analogue tones! Bass Pedals for Kontakt 4 (and above) is powered by over 3200 meticulously recorded multi-sampled sounds, driven by a custom scripted Kontakt 4 engine and intuitive graphical interface. Inspired by the sought-after Moog Taurus Mk1 bass synthesizer, Bass Pedals combines powerful analogue source sounds with modern sound shaping capabilities to create a versatile and fully programmable bass synthesizer! A full version of Native Instruments Kontakt 4 or 5 is required to use our Bass Pedals instrument. Click here to download the Bass Pedals manual Bass Pedals for Kontakt features four main editing pages: Preset Page The preset page is able to load 28 extensively multi-sampled patches designed and recorded from a vintage Moog Taurus MK1 bass synthesizer. All preset patches boast 3 x round robin sound variations and long samples to help capture the imperfections of the original instrument. Sounds from this page can be further edited and mixed with Bass Pedals' 'raw oscillators' (see below) to create interesting 'hybrid' patches Screenshot Raw Oscillator (Synthesizer) Page Synthesize your own ‘Taurus like’ sounds using Bass Pedals’ raw oscillators… Raw mode boasts 2 analogue oscillators (each with switchable saturated waveforms courtesy of an Empirical Labs Fatso), 1 switchable sub oscillator, noise source, and oscillator unison modes, all of which are individually powered by an extensive set of carefully looped waveforms recorded from a Taurus MK1 analogue bass synthesizer Screenshot Effects Page The effects page boasts a number of fully editable effects as well as specially created reverb IR's (Impulse Responses) recorded from our Eventide DSP-7000 Harmonizer Screenshot Controls Page The controls page gives you control over the instruments mono mode with selectable note priorities, portamento, pitch bend range, keyboard velocity and curve response. It is important to note that just like the original Moog Taurus; Bass Pedals has been designed to be a monophonic instrument. A custom Kontakt script is used to realistically ‘mute’ previous notes once a new key is played, even when using long amp release settings Screenshot What’s included in the instrument? 4.5GB core sound library including 3207 multi-sampled 24-bit WAV samples Heavily scripted custom Kontakt 4+ instrument and intuitive graphical interface (requires full version of Kontakt) 28 heavily multi-sampled (including 3 x round robin) Taurus MK1 patches 40 carefully programmed Bass Pedals presets and starting points making use of the instrument’s Raw Oscillator page Please Note: This instrument does NOT work with Free Kontakt Player. A full version of Kontakt 4 or 5 is required

How do you pronounce Moog?

Sure. Why bother to pronounce his name the way he himself pronounces it. It's not like the guy deserves it out of respect, or anything.

...and added back into the mix, sometimes pitched-shifted). I also wouldn't be surprised if he has added some Moog Minotaur bass pedals in some of the pieces, which is an old Lanois trick. There was an interview where Lanois explained that he had put the whole mix in stereo through two LA2As (one left,...
