Hello my fellow Slutzs!

I am attempting to record a backdrop video to post my songs to YouTube.
Many songs on YouTube have videos of spinning Vinyl records, Daft Punk, Calvin Harris and so on.

However, I want to take a different route, I want to record the Mixer Window of my DAW and use it as a backdrop for my song.

My question is in regards to quality. My monitors are very large and I am not sure what screen capture tool to use.

I would like to record HD 1080 X 1920.

What screen capture tool should I use and any recommendation or advise is appreciated.

if you are on a MAC you can just use the built in screen capture... you can set it up and record video of the screen and when complete scale it anyway you want.
