Hello,

I am using a ten year old UTX-B1 with a hand microphone, and i hear a sandlike noise that acts as the person speaks, when they speak louder the noise increases. It's not RF because i am super close to the receiver.

I tested with a different microphone and this sound only appears when the receiver is more that 6 meters away from the transmitter.

Does anybody know what is this?

sounds like you need a new TX/RX pair or one of the units needs repair...
