Bye Bye Phil

Just learning that legendary Pop artist Phil Everly of the Everly Bros. has passed away at the age of 74. Being too young to have enjoyed his impact to the music world first hand, I wasn't ever a big fan of their material. However it was fun and catchy, and brought joy to tens of thousands of Americans over the years. I also respect the harmonious musicality their talents presented to us all. All four Beatles took notice, and brought it to a higher level with electric instruments and backup vocals. History in the making.

Phil, Thank You for bringing smiles and song for the world to enjoy. Rest peacefully.

Yes, they made huge impact, and you still can hear their influence today.

Huge thanks for your talent and music.

Very sad. My brother and I as young kids sang Everlysongs to practise harmonies and I was 'Baby boy Phil'.
Unfortunately I could not make it to go to their reunionconcert in London.
Rip Phil and thanks!
