I'm warning you...! Once you work for this guy, and get a taste of being treated like royalty... paid immediately on time-- even though he puts up a tough guy exterior!--you'll never be satisfied with normal mortals, ever again.

Such is life, kiddies!

The BBC is a very professional organisation. I can't imagine that they would just 'not pay' someone.

Call the BBC, ask for the accounting dept and ask where to send the invoice. That is if he does actualy work FOR the BBC and not for an independent poduction company who are making stuff for broadcast on the BBC....

I have to say they have always been straight when I've dealt with them (that's not often though...)

If it's on BBC Three, it could easily be produced by an independent. Not that I have any experience directly - that's just from watching end credits on BBC Three shows.

The little experience that I do have with independent production companies (not music-related I hasten to add) suggests that they may spout any old load of crap to get your cooperation, but aren't so good on following up afterwards. They talk the talk, but don't necessarily walk the walk.

Hope you manage to get paid or get credit or whatever anyway - the guy's an arse of the first order if you don't.

[ Edit: Cool - sounds like you got paid. Great stuff. ]

Also , dumb drummer jokes always make the morning coffee that much sweeter !

Yes! And once the guitarist has read it to you, have the piano player explain the ironic meaning behind it.
