Are there any 'wedding-disco-DJs' here who could just list their collection? The thread could then be closed, surely...

Let's not forget this era:

"Pretty Fly for a White Guy"- The Offspring

"Annie" - covered by Alien Ant Farm

Sometimes they play these at the gym and it is a pretty awesome moment to hear these dinosaurs get blasted in a concrete building. Man, anybody got a chain wallet and some Jamz I can borrow?

There was a song out recently and seemed to be on the radio a lot by a band called Cribs or the Cribs. It was called something like 'mens things'. It was the biggest most foul stinking heap of rotting ****e I have EVER heard. It caused me physical pain not only to hear it but to realise that people wanted to listen to it FOR PLEASURE.
There was a tedious cliched tuneless mindless verse which clunked into a screaming nightmare of a chorus .............. oh god my heart is failing

I'll also offer most things by Queen but I'll pick Crazy little thing called Puke
U2 - in the name of god stop shouting
stairway to heaven
the works of...
sade
the cure
ub40
madness (baggy trousers might be what I'm listening to when I die)
I could go on...

chrisrnps got it right with his list but I kind of like "Don't Know Much", Aaron Neville as I always turn in a reasonable impression particularly when he goes
"but I know I love you oo oo oo ooooo" (that vibrato tremolo thing he does)

Oh man, there is just so many.. Recently my vote has gotta go to Bon Jovi's, "Have a nice day". I'm cringing just thinking about it. Anything by Fall Out Boy.."This Aint a Scene" sounds like a ripoff of Ricky Martin's "Living La Vida Loca" to my ears <Shudder>, oh and System of a Down...That voice makes me want to stick a hot poker in my ears.

That godawful puff daddy, diddy, diddly, whatever his name is song that sampled 'everybreath'

and the number one song that makes me wanna kill people:

I'm Proud to be and American- Lee Greenwood. Sends me into a blind rage everytime I hear it.
WOW !! I think you just beat every other poster here -- congratulations !!!!

"I'm proud to be an American" MUST be the absolute most phony, uninspired, and fascist song ever written in human history. They actually tried to MAKE us sing that song in high school, but I would NEVER do it!! I was even suspended when I told the teachers why i thought it was such a stupid, vile song that made feel like a Hitler's youth mindlessly chanting the Emporer's anthem.

2 more for the record: 1) ANYTHING by Richard Marx

2) I had the time of my life, and I owe it all to you

Anything by Ted Nugent. I honestly have no idea how anyone listens to that. Bottom grade songs, horrible tone, nothing attractive about it whatsoever.

I would prefer to listen to a months worth of 80's spandex rock than one Nugent tune.
