This site is slow

Is it just me or is this place slow as Mike Tyson at a spelling contest?

Maybe it's because people keep starting two threads on the identical topic?

I've noticed that, too. It's one of the slowest pages I visit. It became noticeable a couple months ago.

Me too. Frequently a page stalls and has to be reloaded - although iPhone app never does this.

Super slow using Firefox, some pages wont even load. Internet explorer seems to work ok.

Just turn your browser's bullsh*t detector off and the pages load much quicker.

With my iOS GS loads fine, much better than Facebook, which has become painfully slow on iOS.

My computer loads fine too - Safari on OSX 10.6.8

I want to know what happens at 1 AM CST?? Must be a momentary server backup or something. Every time I'm on GS at that time....soon as it hits 1 AM, I can't load a page and the whole site is almost locked for like a minute or two. Not a big deal...just always notice that happens.
