Hand problems cts? symptoms.

i have been playing a ton of acoustic guitar here of late.(just got a new d-18 golden era and it sounds so good it's like it's possessed me) im playing some pretty fast bluegrass type stuff. i go through a series of warm ups, out of jody fisher's 30 day guitar work out book before i play. after i warm up i am fine.

But later after say an hour after im done playing my left fretting hand feels weak. like i have no grip or control. and it twitches. feels asleep. and when i go back and try to warm up a little and play again same thing. like i don't have any grip. after awhile it goes away. i know proper warmup have read many articles over it. And have a book dedicated to the subject.

it's not painful, i dont know if it's just like when lifting weight's and it's muscle twitch/recovery. or if i have the beginning of a problem. thanks to all

Stop playing now. It your hand will feel asleep, either your bloodflow or your nerves are having problems. Go and see a doctor- I would check for problems with your back and/or shoulder first.
If you can, try to experiment with the movements you are doing WITHOUT the guitar. Try to reproduce the feeling without a guitar so you can provide better information for your diagnose.

All the best!
