ADC patchbays?!?!

So i needed a TT patchbay to go along with the ones in my console so i ordered an ADC since i've heard they are decent and not too pricey. It said on the site "easy to solder".... PFFT, yeah right! I've wired up a few patchbays but this one is the worst ever. Theres no little hole or a punchblock or anything to hold the wire in place before you solder. I have little burn marks all over my left hand. AHHHHH! I have about 18 more connections that need to be made to it but this thing really is pissing me off. This is the last thing I need to do till my place is set up. and now i lost all the the text on this page again. Jules, whats going on with this? Its happening all the time, and only on this site. hopefully itll let me edit it. I'm not having a great day today.

i soldered some silver contacts to the cables . they fit perfect on the contacts of my adc patches . so i didnt solder the wires straight to the patch . it was still pain , but i didnt burn my hand ... and i can remove it if i want to ( but i dont want to ... hehe ) tut

I ended up doing the same thing. It was a little tedious but a LOT easier then soldering to the actual patch. I might drop a tiny peice of solder between the silver connector and patch to make sure they'll never move.
