Transformers is the worst film I've ever seen in the cinema Consoles

I have to agree with you Hench- coming from post production like you, i can tell you that its every editor and mixer's dream to work on this kind of film. Heck, it would have been fun just to work on the SFX recording.

And i think that they did a stellar job editing and mixing the film. Especially when you consider that Mr. Bay wanted every thing as loud as he did.

As a side point, when my wife and i went to see it in the Lowes at Lincoln center here in NYC, the surrounds were out, and there was a terrible noise coming out of the center. I found out from a projectionist that oversees the district that by and large, the theaters do very little about any sort of audio problems. He said that most don't even notice it. Seems like a waste on a movie like transformers; almost as if watching it in black and white.(We saw oceans 13 at the same theater, it played in good old mono. we were the only ones to complain.) I guess it goes to show....
