eh?

can you give an example of music causing a social ill?

if I'm approched with material that I'm not comfortable with , I turn it down. That wont stop the record being made or the event from happening tho.

Seriously, it is called free will and responsibility. Music doesn't cause social ill, morons do.

..... then yer a donkey !!

1. producers are not engineers

2. engineers are not producers

3. a mixer is neither of the above

4. SOMETIMES the role is performed by the same person

5. the producers role stops with delivery to the record company. Not all record companies let the producer have a say in the mastering.

6. some record companies (ie most majors!!!) instruction to master hoosiz is "make it loud". Still.
