Crazy obsessive compulsive "distortion" about Analog vs Digital?
First off, please use a real 1176 and not a clone when you're trying to compare something emulating an original.
Secondly, no two vintage analog devices sound exactly the same and don't react the same to input and adjustments.
Third, stop obsessing over differences that can be replicated several different ways using a wide variety of brands and models of post processing tools.
Lastly, the subtle differences are something audio engineers obsess over not people who actually consume the music.
Now please, let's get back to making music and not the perfect tone in your head.
