I quit my of them.

Two weeks ago I left a tech director position job I've held for 5 years. It was a great community of people and nice facility, but pay vs. hours vs. what I was truly interested in didn't mesh all the time.

To compensate for this...I was blessed to join a rapidly growing artist development company. We are basically an independent A&R company with label contacts.

It's weird spending all your time writing and recording music, meeting with clients and talking business. Takes a while to get used to running creative sessions with clients and realize you're not just doing this for fun.....this is your job.

Im thinking of doing the same with a venue Ive worked at for about 6 years. They just moved to a new building and I reeeeaaaally dont like the new place, so I think its time to move on
