Vanity Pics of my Rockin' Converted Rehearsal

Hi GS,

It's been close to a year since I've delved into complete and utterly hopeless gear lust. I've been pretty much running for Gearslut Rookie of The Year 06-07. Just about all that you see (minus the piano) was purchased (and built) with in late 06' to present.

I've built out a 'control room' in my little rehearsal studio which is more like a storage facility because it's so small. Anyway, here are the pics of my studio:

My Piano

My Drums (well, roommate's)

The Audio Tech Work desk (currently repairing a Wurlitzer)

Room Window

The Chest

Decks

And a few mics with our stuffed Emporer Penguin friend, Marty

Anyway, the good news is that this summer I've been able to get decent tones from the current set-up I have. Recently purchasing a Transient Designer has added depth to the tone. I'd like to get a Eventide H3000 model, but I'm pretty much ready to roll.

Thanks for watching.

Thanks guys. It's a lot of work trying to get Hassleblad resolution out of a shoebox.

I'm getting some pretty great stuff out of the piano. The Transient Designer makes my trashy little room sound pretty compettive. Now there's just the gain staging, padding, mix routing, and tape machine de-gauzzing and calibrating and I think I'll be finding some balance. Oh wait, piano and drum tuning. And I need Chaz to fix my EQH.

Ugh.. It never ends.

But I'm thankful.
