I made a Christmas Rock/Pop record!

Its that time of the year again, and I've had this half written in my head for a number of years now, but my other half insisted that this Christmas I must finish it, and she helped with the lyrics and backing.
Its inspired by the British Christmas hits from the 70/80s, formulaic and a bit corny, but it's all just a bit of fun for Christmas. Have a great month people.

Really like it, and I like your voice too; reminds me a little of a two octave lower version of Russel Mael. I keep trying to knock a Christmas tune together, it's difficult to know whether to go for the 'corny' or the 'deeper' content. I always loved The Pretender's '2000 Miles' but I also love 'Christmas Time (Don't let the bells end) by The Darkness......I like the fact that their main objective was to have a Christmas No 1 which contained 'Bellend' and 'Ringpiece' in the chorus! unfortunately it peaked at No 2.......But yes, love your song, perhaps you should send it to Sir Cliff?

Cheers, Thanks for your feedback, I always liked 2000 Miles as well. Back the past it was a big deal in the UK but these days the Classic Christmas track is almost non-existent.
I would love Cliff to sing it, don't know how I'd contact him though.
Have a go at writing one, if its any consolation this was written over 12 years on Christmas Eve. I had the Chorus all that time, but only this year did i really get down to the verses.
