I just want to thank you all for an awesome contribution to my questions!
Still got some theoretical things to figure out though when I get the time but I guess that's how it goes.

I can see how the results differ from different surfaces and how it relates to combfiltering in the response; phase and level of superposition. And of course how to view it as a complete system. Maybe that's enough.

And also many thanks for the very practial info from all of you in this discussion. For me it really contributes to a way of thinking when using polys. And not only for me but for anyone who's interested in using polys in their studio.
The basic construction of polys are after all pretty simple compared to qrd imho.

im not sure if im reading that correctly - are they defining 'early' with regards to this paper as within 100ms?
