Green Glue is supposed to take up to 4 weeks to reach maximum effectiveness. Care to provide any more details of your construction and the perceived effectiveness?

The water in the Green Glue (just under 30%) will wick its way through the drywall or plywood. This process is faster in the heat, with a single layer, low humidity. Slower when cold and multiple layers.
