Setting up in a small room

Hey, I'm setting up my mixing space in a smaller room (3.8m x 2.4m x 3m) and I was wondering if I should set up against the smaller wall or the longer one?

There is a window against the smaller wall but setting up against the longer one have the wall behind me too close perhaps?

Any help would be great!

Just a few questions:
What is the height 2.4 or 3 metres?
Which speakers have you got?
What kind of walls do you have? Masonry, plasterboard on studs?

Yes, normally best to put the speakers on the shorter wall facing down the longer dimension.
