Decorative Wall Foam

I am renewing my 'studio' room and would like to know if the material I am considering would have any negative effect.

The purpose is not to make an acoustically ideal environment. I'm just afraid the material will dampen certain frequencies to much, and would like to know your opinions. I will be mainly be tracking some hardware like drumcomputer/ synth/ guitar. I have Abacus C4 speakers. For flooring I am considering 2cm cork floor to insulate a bit for the below neighbours.

The room is L3.60xW2.70xH2.36

This is the material I want to use for the walls.

Doesn't look like the pattern is very deep so it will probably be more or less reflective like a wall.

I think no negative effect, but no positive, either.

Ok thanks for your reply!! so what would be a material which give an positive effect? Right now I have just wall paper with cement behind it, wouldn't say concrete because they are very old and very brittle walls.

For acoustics or aesthetics?

Acoustics, glasswool. Material data here: Common Gas Flow Resistivity numbers.

Aesthetics, depends on your taste.

As I read it, you want to know which material will positively help you not make an acoustically ideal room. Maybe you could restate your aim.
