Help with flush mounting control room monitors.

I need to flush mount my monitors into a simple, flat drywall wall. However, they are big, and I want to angle them to form a triangle with my listening position. This means that they really are not going to go through the wall much. It would be simpler to leave this wall untouched, and just build a second inner wall just to surround the faces of the speakers. I have the space.

The speaker cabinets will be enclosed within two walls instead of sticking out the back of a wall. Would this be a problem?
