Help needed: isolate room from voices

Hi acoustics experts,

I need your help for a problem that is not exactly related to my studio: My bedroom is right next to a noisy neighbour who tends to have intense conversations in the middle of the night. What reaches me in my bedroom through the wall are not his voice's higher frequencies, but the lower ones. Around 200Hz/300Hz I believe.
I want to dampen that a little without huge construction works or costs. My first idea would be a acoustic curtain on that wall towards his apartmemt. But not sure if that is a promising approach.
Any feedback? Suggestions? Ideas? Please help me to get back my good sleep.

Cheers,
Johannes
