Static in Speakers

Hi All

I hope this is in the right forum.

I have noticed that when I plug the 1/4 TRS cable from Komplete Audio 6 interface into Yamaha MSP5s, static comes out.

It is incredibly annoying.

I notice that it sometimes changes/improves when I move some of the powerboards/cables where the rest of the studio gear is connected to.

Does anyone know what this might be/how to fix it?

I am using balanced 1/4 TRS cables.

Thanks!

Can be anything from a kaput cable to a fault in the interface.
Try to find it by step for step excluding the source of the annoyance.

Thanks for the reply!

I noticed it tended to get worse when I was moving around the cables. I also have pretty cheap Balanced cables.

Maybe higher quality cables would fix the issue?
