A little advice for a room

Hello everyone,
I have a place for making sound, i don’t want a proper home studio (regarding the scale of the room, i think it would be too expensive) . But I just wanted some tips for placing my monitors. I join an photo for explaining. It’s a large room with a window, and the room is basically also a corridor. It’s 3 meters high. I have a lot of books that I have to place somewhere . Can i have some advice for having the optimal placement ? Maybe I can close the room with books If the corridor is a problem. Or maybe breaking the angles a bit .

Thanks you all,

Guilhem

I would place the speakers close to the left wall to have the side wall on both sides. Then I would start making measurements with REW. I have a similar shaped room btw:

Okay thanks a lot, I watched your post, so do I need to close the room to the corridor ? I don’t think I will make measurements tho, I don’t have money for treating the room. I just wanted something “okay”
