Skyline diffuser need to be square?

I have an impressive collection of wood scrap from various projects that I would like to put to use. Would a skyline built with 2x4 posts be effective or do they really need to be square?

Hi,

You can build a 2D diffuser that is not square look. Alternatively, you can also put two 2D diffuser to make it a rectangle. Sound Splash diffuser builder can help you to do the calculation.

Best,

Hadi

I may have been unclear in the title. What I was trying to ask is if the individual posts used in the diffuser have to be square, or if they can be rectangular and get the same effect by adjusting the dimensions of unit

as far as i know, skyline posts need to be square. you can glue 2 pieces of 2x4 into 1 pieces of 4x4.
