Thickness of panels for walls and ceilings

Hi Guys,

I am about to start a room treatment with Autex Quite Space panels, made of 100% polyester fibre without chemical binders or ******ants.

These are available in 25mm, 50mm, 75mm and 100mm thickness.

My ceilings are only 2.5m in height, the room is 10.5m x 6.5m (quite a nice size).

My main question is as to how to ascertain the thickness of the panels to install.

My floor is wooden, covered 90% with carpets.

Do I need the same thickness for ceilings and walls or there are differences there.

Cheers
Doug
