Still connected with the first post regarding room-loudspeaker interaction, we have just released Filter Hose LT version (it's a freeware!). Using Filter Hose LT, user is able to create FIR filters with 512 maximum taps and only limited to flat magnitude target response only. This is adequate to flatten a freq resp or power response (averaged freq resp) for room compensation at 300Hz and up.

FIR filters can then be implemented using hardware such as MiniDSP OpenDRC series (www.minidsp.com) or others.
