Havent heard 7 yet since I refuse to be a beta tester. Summing bus in the mixer hasnt changed
FWIW, v7 is the best .0 release I've seen from Steinberg (been using Cubase since the VST days). Not saying it's perfect, but it is definitively usable and far more stable than all the 6.5.X releases. Those were pretty bad to be honest.
the Timestretch: elastique pro - Pitch (it wasnt there in Cubase 5 - right? only Mpex and some unnamed one)
is pretty great for Drum loops
-- and because I am a nice guy I made you an example of a 130+ bpm Acoustic drum loop (taken from the winstons) -> timestretched to 175 bpm - and afterwards pitch up 4 tones (cause too deep it sounds unnatural)
Hey thanks very much and that is a very sexy loop! :D
Was that Cubase6 or Cubase7? You sped it up... how does it do with slowing it down? I heard someone use ProTools Xform to slow down a track that had just a voice and acoustic guitar on it by half, and I didn't hear any warble at all! :D
It's actually more for the timing correction. At the moment I correct the timing of everything manually - esp drums and percussion obviously - because the warble created when I use v5 to do it automatically is quite audible... so yeah any more/less warble v6 vs v7? perchaps?? :D
