I bought this light and controller on an online auction site. It was advertised as a Martin Rush par 1 RGBW. However, when I got it I noticed that the light that was in the box was not the light pictured on the box. I didn’t notice the difference in the pictures that were posted on the auction. I bought the light because I like to buy things online and resell them in other places. So when I looked up the rush par 1 it was a couple hundred dollar light and I figured I could make a couple bucks selling it on ebay. Long story short, I picked the light and the DTS Z1 LED controller for $6 so it’s not really worth the time and effort it would take to get a refund or whatever. So I am trying to identify the light itself so I can try to figure out if I would be able to sell it or what I should do with it. If it’s not worth anything, I’ll just put it in the kids room and let them play with it I guess. But if I can sell it, I would like to know the brand or some way to identify it on eBay or wherever. It is a fairly heavy light for its size. Most of the lights I have seen online seem to be plastic or sheet metal but this one is like cast iron or something. Thanks for any help.
The light is a “DTS D50 full color”. You can find it on the DTS site. I didn’t see a price.
Thank you very much for the quick reply. Would you be able to link the page that you found this on? Because I can’t find it on their site anywhere. Thank you again!
I can’t find the page I was looking at, so it’s very likely I gave you bad information.
Below is from one of the Z1 pages:
Z1 is a power supply / DMX LED controller designed to control the following D.T.S. LED products:
● MR16 RGB LED lamp
● MR16 Full Color LED lamp
● D30 RGB LED projector
● D30 Full Color LED projector ● D150 Full Color LED projector
I am not a lighting person, so I may have mistaken a general bulb designation for a fixture designation.
The power unit is a DTS Z1 http://teatr.com.pl/media/uploads/ol...2464240740.pdf
The MR16 is the single lamp
The unit you have is a DTS D150
It's called D150 'cause it has 15 lamps, if it had 3 lamps, it'd be called D30.
The MR16 is a 3w lamp (1w R, 1w G, 1w B) so the D150 it's an IP68 fixture, 45w (15 lamps)
It can be either 25° or 40° depending on the optic
