Oops, thank you. They've upgraded a lot of their models.
The yr isn't much cheaper than the Pre73, but now they offer the comp54 and the DLX as PLUS models with carnill transformers installed.

I'm starting to get into rack-mounting gear a lot... wonder how many of those would fit in a single rack?! 6? lol

Weird thing is, there is literally no information on these anywhere except the website... outside of the photo. Wonder when they will show us a real version of the box and not just a front-plate.

Really want to order the comp 554. But I wonder if it fits my radial cube. The Pre573 didn't.

Some shops list at least the 73jr with an estimated delivery date in may.

I'm pretty interested in these. I'm curious to know what the trade-offs are for buying the jr vs the full. Obviously, there's a lot less tweak-ability because of the lack of options and knobs, but I'm referring more to the sonics. I'm wondering if it will still have the same core sound as the full versions or if there will be a difference.

I wonder where to get the matching lipstick.

I think I have to buy one of these preamps. Really cool. If they sound identical to the 73 Senior its a no-brainer.

I forgot to include this text with the photo above:

"Look who just joined the family... Presenting the Golden Age Project PRE-73 Jr, the little brother of our big seller the PRE-73 Mk2. Using the same discrete (no IC´s) signal path with a transformer balanced in- and output, it offers the same classic character at an even more affordable price point. Expected to arrive in May."

Anybody get their hands on one of these yet? I've got a Pre-73, and would definitely consider adding more channels at a cheaper price.

Are they really identical less the meter, phase switch, and variable input impedance (and probably an insert jack)?
