Anyone with at least one ear working and with (5) neurons connected can tell that Mic "B" is clearly much better for anything and everything than mic "A". It's lush and open and has acoustic tinges of raspberry and cinnamon, while although mic "A"is punchy and square, it's still flinty sounding unless it's used with an inverted mosFET mic pre with a starved-plate 833 output stage feeding a hand-wound, cryogenically-treated output transformer. Even then it's like comparing a fine Pinot Noir to oil-tanker bilge scum.

It's amazing that anyone would even consider these mics to be competitive. Mic "B" is instant Grammy material and will turn any singer into a superstar, while mic "A" isn't worthy for use in a dictaphone.

Even though I've never heard either, I know this to be an absolute fact because Mic "B" (or one that kinda looked like it) was once used on a You-Tube video that went viral, so it's got to be good.

Seriously, how could you even ask?

The neumann kmz-520 titanium ribbon condenser mic is better.
