elysia xfilter. aside from being my lone outboard eq, the passive massage feature seems to never get turned off.

Rack compressor and/or EQ may/may not be included.

There is a huge thread on this somewhere in the forums

I have two shadowhills dual vandergraphs on 2 seperate mix busses for the multiBus technique which then both Buses go through a bettermaker EQ502P for some top end Boost . I like the SHDV as it retains the sonic quality , not as hard or snappy as the SSL style Bus comp but I already get that through my individual tracks . The Better maker as I wanted an eq for top end pultec style and it has plug in control over the hardware .

CAPI VP28s. Why? Because they sound awesome....punch, heft, depth, "aliveness."

Your just running your mixes through them ? with a passive summer ?

Currently I'm just running mixes through them along with other outboard but I'm halfway through building an API-based 24 channel active summing mixer of which the VP28's, among other outboard, will reside on the 2 bus.

Sometimes Elysia Xpressor 500. I noticed an audible hiss so I removed that. Now a pair of harrison gr32 EQs. Before that a pair of MA5s. 28k switched off. Way too much boost for main bus.

I've been using an Xpressor for about two years now. I don't think I've ever heard a hiss no matter how high I've had it boosted.

You should definitely get it checked out.

Eisen Lil'Peqr's. Neve / Marinar transformers , yummy. Last thing in the chain, driven by gssl buss compressor (see serpent, dramastic, or SSL for 500 series).

You could say the Eisens were a prototype for the Purple model. Same design but without the vintage marinars and a few other bits & bobs. If I remember correctly only 60 were made using the transformers from a parted out console. Sound incredible but I've heard the purples do too. Nice smooth two band sweetness
