Building Around Motu 828 Mk3

I've been working with music (producing and trying to engineer for about 3 years). I've finally decided to build me a small budget studio. I happen to stumble upon a Motu 828 Mk3 for $300. The thing had never been out the box so i had to get it as my 1st interface. I also got a pair of used Yamaha Hs80m's for $325. I plan on purchasing a Rode Nt1a because i found one on sale and i've had really good luck with those. I already have all my software so i need no suggestions there. A have roughly around $400 more to spend on hardware. Do you guys have any further suggestions. I already built a computer so exclude that.

Lives for gear

Make sure you get a Texas Instrument chip'ed FireWire card.
Motus pretty much require them for compatibility.
(Motherboard FireWire is iffy)
Belkin and SIIG have TI-chipped cards and they're not expensive.

(I'm still running an 828mkII)
