Gotham, or Mogami?

I want to start soldering my own cables. Which ones? Are they both about as good and I should get whichever I get a better price on?

The Mogami is very easy to use. That's what I would say. That's what you shouild be making the decision on. There would be no difference in sound.

Is Mogami W2534 Quad Mic Cable what you'd suggest?

I could never get Gotham to coil up properly. I would probably vote for
Mogami for this reason although I use Canare star quad myself for mic
cable, and Belden 9451 for audio cables.

GAC-3 has also been a lot less susceptable to dimmer buzz in my experience.

Ironically I don't own any GAC-3 because I don't do enough using my own gear for it to make sense to replace my Canare and Mogami. If I were buying new, I think the Gotham is a no-brainer.
