192 I/O: Can SRC'ed AES Input Be Used as Clock?

Sorry to ask a question that can be easily checked, but the question has come up in planning a session and I won't be able to check before the session goes down.
Here is the scenario. I have a bunch of material at 48, that for various reasons has to stay at 48, with fx that have to be in PT, and another system that will be running at 96 in another app. I want to be able to send from the 96k system into PT to share some fx. Can one of the aes ins that are taking the 96k input and src'ing them be used as the clock source for the system?
