You gotta travel to leeds, but then it is residential...

And way better spec than any similarly priced London studio....

The Chairworks - residential recording studio complex.

Prism Converters, SSL G+.

More outboard than you can find the time to use... Amazing live room, many great microphones.
This. If you can make the the trip, that place is tricked out.

I'll be there at some point next year. Looking forward to it.

And whoever said dry hire is bring your own gear, I think you've been conned!

Dry hire is without and engineer, but still with the gear.

If I were hiring a studio on dry hire I would certainly expect gear.

But it is semantics... as long as OP knows what he is getting/knows what to ask for there shouldn't be any issues. Just confirm what you get for what you're paying and there's no issue.

Hey I'm just trying to help, I gave you a curveball. It takes 2 hours to get to Leeds from Kings X.

Sometimes it takes me longer than that just to get from east to west London.....

It has more gear than most studios in the 800-£1200 range in London & Ryan will cut deals & you can get residential & the live rooms are sublime.

I'm biased, I worked there for 3 years and helped build some of it.

But I have no connection to earning anything from it, just trying to help you.

You can get Miloco studios on downtime for unsigned rates, but goodluck getting 5 Prism converters, an SSL and more outboard than assault & battery for £300
